CLIL Global Forum - Gateway to global CLIL expertise

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has become established practice across the educational spectrum.  Higher education providers are now increasingly required to provide high quality CLIL education, and teacher education.

Concept
The CLIL Global Forum acts as a platform for inter-organizational cooperation to strengthen capacity-building in CLIL. It seeks to informally link high quality universities and organizations across the world engaged in research and education in this field.  It acts to enable partners to achieve higher levels of innovative practice through exchange of expertise.  It is an informal partnership, not a specific funded project.

The CLIL Global Forum enables:

1. Forming an established profile for accessing trans-national research and other funding
2. Utilizing virtual learning environments and other technology-enhanced spaces
3. Facilitating mobility between organizations
4. Creating synergies through activities involving different types of expert organization
5. Developing joint or otherwise complementary research initiatives
