EXPLORE: Learning Journey into the Finnish success in education

EduCluster Finland Learning Journey is a 5-day intensive learning process that provides you with the key information of the Finnish education and its special characteristics. The programme delivers insights and the best practices of how to organize education in a school community with qualified and motivated teaching staff.

The programme is built on four components following the framework of experiental learning. The learning process includes lectures, on-site visits, individual work and facilitated group work, with the focus on experience, dialogue and reflection.

Elements of the learning process

learning proces

Not only a study visit, but a learning process

Why learning instead of studying?

We offer formal and informal ways to learn during the week. It means the week is not just listening other people telling you things, but it is also reflecting and conceptualising about what you have heard and experienced. You will learn as an individual and as a team.

Why process instead of visits?

When it comes to learn, it will never start and stop but continues life long. We focus participant’s learning energy to the week by giving possibilities to activate beforehand. During the week we build the programme in a way it forms a process which has a clear goals. These goals will be continued when arrived back home.
