Ton Duc Thang University and University of Jyväskylä taking the first steps of cooperation in education

The University of Jyväskylä and Ton Duc Thang University (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Ton Duc Thang University is especially interested in cooperating in the fields of Education and Teacher Training. The University intends to set up the Vietnam–Finland Elementary and High School on their campus in cooperation with Finnish education experts. The Finnish consortium includes EduCluster Finland, FCG Finnish Consulting Group and Wise Consulting Finland Oy.

The goal of the cooperation is for the University of Jyväskylä Faculty of Education to provide in-service training for the Vietnamese teachers working at the school. In addition, some teachers would have the opportunity to complement their studies in the international Master’s Degree Programme of the Faculty.

Celebration on finalizing Memorandum of Understanding between Jeju Special Governing Province, Republic of Korea, and EduCluster Finland.  This now leads to the establishment of a Teacher Overseas School Experience Program starting  August 2017.
