Jyrki Saarivaara appointed the CEO of EduCluster Finland
The board of EduCluster Finland, the leading education export company of Finland, has appointed MSc (Econ.) Jyrki Saarivaara as the new CEO. Saarivaara will start in the new position immediately, on 17 November 2016.
Jyrki Saarivaara has worked earlier in managerial positions for TietoEnator, Yomi Solution, Yomi Software, Metso, Employment and Economic Development Offices, Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment and Suomen Terveystalo. The owners of EduCluster Finland, the University of Jyväskylä, the JAMK University of Applied Sciences and the Jyväskylä Educational Consortium, are familiar to him as partners and customers, and he also has worked for the University of Jyväskylä after studies.

In 2015, the net sales of EduCluster Finland Ltd were 7.2 million. The company has a school in Qatar, has operated two schools in Abu Dhabi, educates nurses in Beihua University, China, and has an Excellence Center of vocational education in Shanghai. In addition, EduCluster operates in different education development projects in various countries. The company has almost 100 employees all around the world.
